Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13th, 1962. After her debut on film in 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors. She was also in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). In recognition of her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Ally Sheedy is an American actor and a writer. She began her film career by appearing in the crime-drama movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she was quite appreciated. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, where other actors were notable, such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her role was featured in The Breakfast Club in 1985, a comedy drama following her initial fame. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club is considered as one of high school cinema's best films. Although the film's budget was only $1 million, it made more than $50 million in profits. As she worked on the show her first appearance on television was made with CBS Schoolbreak. It was a show for teenagers which began in April of 1980. Other shows on TV she was in are Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Some of her latest appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about a superhero where she is in a role as a guest. Sheedy has been praised for her outstanding performances. has won numerous awards including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in the year 2005.
